We are here for you! You the people! The people of our great city! Follow us on facebook, check our website and our calendar and sign up for our monthly newsletter, and oh yeah come out to the shows. Membership
Toronto has a wicked arts scene…that no one knows about. We all know that being in the independent arts scene is hard and frequently sucks. We want to make it easier. Based on the visual arts model of an artist run center we are building a community of artists that can help each other as opposed to compete with each other.
What do we provide our members with?
- 350 programmes annually
- promotion of shows/workshops/festivals/events for free on our website
- cross promotion in all other members programmes
- access to our venues and arts workers call lists
- contact with all Thesp associate artists

Festival
Thesp has the annual SOUND IT OUT festival, giving artists a chance to share their work, network with artists, drink, eat, and have a grand old time.
SOUND IT OUT 2012 will be held June 16th and 17th. Interested in participating? Apply by May 12th @ 5pm.
The Call List
Looking for a stage manager? Or a sound designer? Anybody or anything, we’ve got an extensive call list with all sorts of people and places on it.
Are you a freelance artist? designer? administrator? run a venue? have a rehearsal space? we want to get you work! List with us for free and all our members will have the opportunity to find and hire you. Send your contact info, a link if you have it, and a one-page resume/CV (.doc or .pdf, please) to christine@thesp.ca
