Currently we are accepting applications for SOUND IT OUT- our annual Theatrical Extravaganza. Detailed info on the Workshop, BBQ, and New Member Deadline to come soon.
SOUND IT OUT is a reading festival of new works for artists in Toronto. It’s an opportunity for emerging playwrights/choreographers/dancers to publicly present new work and showcase their high level of awesomeness.
Last year was a huge success featuring the Program Band and an incredible Grilled Cheese Barbecue!
Your work can be a full piece or an excerpt. It must be between 10 and 30 minutes. It doesn’t have to be text-based, but if you don’t have a script please include a longer and more detailed project description with your application. (No more than 3 pages)
You bring the work and performers, we bring the venue and marketing support.
What else is awesome about Sound It Out? It’s theatre that’s fun! You can eat and drink and come and go as you please! ANNNNND the whole event is PWYC meaning it is affordable for all your friends!
